ESC’s education programs teach that Shakespeare is for all actors. Offering the only training in the work of the RSC’s Patsy Rodenburg OBE available on the east coast, our classes educate actors and anyone curious about our accessible approach to Shakespeare. All our classes and workshops have scholarship options available to any participant. We actively seek to remove the barriers and prejudices that so often accompany classical training

Our storytelling takes time and space. ESC’s pioneering rehearsal and workshop process thoroughly investigates every play, character, scene, line, and word. Actors and collaborators work in full presence at all times. Our work takes time, and we believe it shows. We seek out venues for rehearsal and performance that provide us and our audience with space that can hold our big stories and heightened language. Your support allows us to make Shakespeare for All in collaboration with theater spaces that share our passion for bold storytelling as well as equity and integrity.
